This means that the consumption fried food, junk food, oil, butter, cream, whole dairy products and red meat should be cut down drastically, to reduce the levels of cholesterol in the body. Instead, foods that are high in vitamin, minerals and fiber should be increased and therefore, it is important to eat higher amounts of fruits, vegetables, low fat dairy products, grains and herbs. The method of cooking food is also important and people who are prone to heart problems should eat foods that have been steamed, baked or grilled.

Exercising is an integral part of heart attack tips too and therefore, everyone should exercises for at least half an hour each day. Activities like walking or swimming are generally recommended for people with heart problems.

While most of the heart health tips that have been mentioned above are relatively safe, they should only be used by heart patients after the approval of a doctor.
