You need to first identify what is causing these blisters. An ulcer, sore or blister is caused by an injury in the mouth, like accidentally biting the lining of the mouth, eating something very hot or by allergies. If certain foods are causing the blisters, you must stop consuming them. When suffering from blisters avoid all kinds of spicy food and let the food cool down before you eat it. You can also suffer from mouth sores because of fungal, viral, or bacterial infections. If you suffer from chronic sores, it could be because your immune system is considerably weakened. A weak immune system fails to combat viruses and bacteria. Chronic blisters are also a result of Vitamin B12 complex, vitamin, and iron in the diet and consuming too many spicy and acidic foods.

Home Remedies

A mouth sore or blister usually heals on its own. However, you can take measures to minimize the pain and discomfort and also expedite the healing process. Firstly, you can procure an antibacterial mouthwash from a chemist and swish the liquid around in your mouth about twice a day, especially in the morning. An effective remedy to treat ulcers is chewing about five leaves of Holy Basil and sipping on water after that, about five times a day. This will not only get rid of the blisters but also prevent bad breath.

Gargling with fenugreek tea is also a very effective in curing mouth ulcers. Take two cups of water, add fenugreek leaves to it, and boil. Strain the water, cover it, and set it aside to cool. Then, gargle with it several times a day. Another gargle solution you can make is boiling coriander seeds in water, setting it aside to cool down to lukewarm temperature, and then gargling with it. You can also apply toothpaste, coconut milk and honey, or peppermint oil to the sores to get relief from them. Also take one teaspoon of glycerin, add a pinch of turmeric to it and apply this on the sores.

If the sores are being caused by nutritional deficiencies, you must consume as many green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits and vegetables as you can. Having tomato juice at least once a day would also be beneficial. A remedy you can try for the ulcers is mixing a ripe banana with yogurt made from cow’s milk. Eat this as a dessert after meals. Banana is also rich in iron, the deficiency of which may also be causing the ulcers.
