Not surprisingly, excessive hair growth, particularly on the face, is a cause of great annoyance to the majority of females. It is possible that excessive hair growth is brought on by some hormonal imbalances. Other factors such as tumors developing in the ovaries, adrenal glands and other endocrine glands are also known to be responsible for this condition. However, in the majority of cases there is no specific cause that can be connected with this problem. Hair growth is considered to be directly linked to estrogen levels, hormones and ancestry. In today’s modern society, body or facial hair in women is completely unwelcome.
Electrolysis, Laser And Waxing For Hair Removal
There are several processes to help with hair removal. Electrolysis can be used to remove excessive hair; however this process is too complicated and can be expensive. Laser therapy is considered to be a permanent solution, yet it is not always the case. Fortunately there are several natural home remedies which can be used to resolve the situation. The easiest method is to shave the hair as regularly as required, perhaps up to a couple of times weekly. Another option is to take some gram flour and mix it with turmeric powder and a little water to prepare a paste which can be applied on the face. This paste is known to be effective in the removal of facial hair. You can even add yoghurt or fresh cream to this mixture to enhance its hair removal properties. Plucking your hair is also considered to be an effective solution to get rid of facial hair. Ideally, you can do this a couple of times weekly. Lemon is known to be an excellent bleaching agent. You can take some freshly squeezed lemon juice and mix with some honey. Apply this mixture on your face and for about 10 or 15 minutes. Do this as often as possible for best results. You can also prepare a paste using some sugar, lemon and water. Apply this paste in the direction of the hair growth and rinse it after about 15 minutes. These remedies can help in reducing the growth of hair and getting rid of superfluous hair on the face and body.
Yet another alternative which is believed to be effective in eliminating facial hair is to prepare a mask by blending one egg white with one tablespoon of sugar and half a tablespoon of corn flour until a sticky consistency is achieved. Applying this mask to the face and letting it remain for about 20 minutes.
After it is dried sufficiently peel it off. You can repeat this process three or four times a week for best results.
