Shakti Vinyasa Yoga (East & West) happens to be the only Baptiste affiliate studios on the West Coast of the USA.



They are devoted to the art and tradition of Shakti Vinyasa Yoga with highly skilled Yoga instructors and tutors trained. They have all been trained by Lisa Black and Baron Baptiste.



Shakti Vinyasa Yoga (East & West) teaches Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga as well as Shakti Vinyasa Yoga. Both of these are incredibly beneficial styles that link breath with dynamic movements.





Shakti is a Sanskrit word that refers to the creative, transformational energy in all human beings. Shakti Vinyasa Yoga was developed to encourage students to discover this distinctive power within themselves. It is the mission of the Shakti Vinyasa Yoga movement to provide regular, quality, and excellent Yoga instruction to its students. The goal is that they may be empowered to discover their full potential. To this end, the Shakti Vinyasa Yoga studios provide a safe structure and supportive learning environment. Here students get to challenge their physical limits, shift their mental perspectives, and awaken their Real spirit.

Shakti Vinyasa Yoga studios offer Yoga classes primarily in 2 complementary, dynamic, unique styles. These include Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga and Shakti Vinyasa Yoga. The institutions also have the great honor of being Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga affiliate studios. Shakti Vinyasa Yoga studios specialize in Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga. It is taught by expert instructors who are personally trained by the master teacher, Baron Baptiste and Senior Baptiste teacher, Lisa Black. The Shakti Vinyasa Yoga studios’ on-going relationship with the Baptiste Power Yoga Institute helps us maintain the quality, standards, and effectiveness of the Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga practices and principles.
