Simple Yoga Asanas For Stomach Pain After Eating

If you are suffering from stomach pain after eating, then there could be a number of reasons why this is happening. The first thing you should do is get yourself medically examined. It is not possible to come up with any diagnosis on this platform. And it is always better to be informed accurately about your condition before you try to start your own treatment. You do not want to begin any mode of natural or home based treatments and then discover that you are simply making matters worse. If you are diagnosed with problems of indigestion, then you can adopt a few easy methods to take care of them at home. Start with chewing on a piece of dry ginger. Although this is a spicy affair, it will help to soothe your stomach. Besides, ginger is also very good for digestion, so it will take care of the indigestion problem as well. Sometimes, extreme indigestion also leads to causation of gas. Gas can give really bad stomach aches; so much so that people actually believe they are struck with some serious illness if they have bad gas problems. If you have gas, then you can try a simple Yoga asana to release gas. Lie flat on the floor, raise your legs, bend them, and try to encircle your bent legs with your stomach. This will put a lot of pressure on the lower part of your abdomen and will release any gas that is trapped and causing a stomach ache there. You can do this exercise only on an empty stomach, otherwise it may not work. After meals, you can sit down in the Yogic pose called Vajraasan. Simply bend your legs under your buttocks and sit on them. This is also extremely useful in releasing gas. This can also be done frequently during the day.

If you are diagnosed with any other problem, you can only try and ease the aches and pains by simply keeping a hot water bag on your stomach. This will help by soothing your stomach. You can also use a bit of warm mustard oil to massage your stomach gently. This will also be very helpful in relieving your aches and pains. The good part about using these remedies is that they can be used frequently during the day. As these are purely natural remedies they will not aggravate the pain, incase it is unrelated to gas.
